Episode 16: Jen Vincent Thinks Differently About Identity Work

Episode 16: Jen Vincent Thinks Differently About Identity Work

Jen Vincent is one of the most enthusiastic, authentic and genuine person I know.  As founder of Story Exploratory she helps people uncover, write and share their stories.  Growing up as a Latina woman in a predominately white upper class neighborhood, Jen was often left feeling as if she wasn't enough or even mattered.  It wasn't until she started doing the work to uncover and embrace her identify through storytelling and writing that she began to see the impact she had on others.  This episode will cause you to look inward and explore your own identity!

Episode 14: Emily Drake Thinks Differently About the Role of the Individual

Episode 14: Emily Drake Thinks Differently About the Role of the Individual

Talking to Emily Drake is like getting a warm hug over the internet.  She is the owner and lead facilitator of the Collective Academy and truly thinks differently about the work it takes to become the best version of yourself. Emily works with leaders and teams from some of the world's largest companies to optimize their work but it often results in deep learning about themselves (and often time tears)!  This episode is deep and emotional.

Some of my favorite quotes from the episode include :"never waste a good crisis", "from our pain comes our work", "we are only as sick as our secrets", "the antidote to uncertainty is self certainty" and "what am i great at, what am i driving toward and what do i want to become?".  Seriously, if that doesn't reel you in you need a pulse check!

Emily Drake thinks differently about the role of the individual.

Episode 12: Erin Huizenga Thinks Differently About Learning

I have been chasing Erin Huizenga around the internet since 2006.  She has worked at all the places I've drooled over for years, done some amazing work around innovation, design and education and to be honest is just a pretty cool person.  She is a several time founder, co-founder and host and most recently co-founded Desklight Learning, "Desklight uses human-centered design to build engaging learning tools and platforms for businesses, schools, and nonprofits."  Erin and I talked about HOW she does her creative, innovative and strategic work, the value of community that is so dear to her and her thoughts on learning!

Jesse L. Podcast Listener ,

One of my favorite new podcasts!

Marc is an engaging, energetic and thoughtful host. You could say that he Thinks Differently about hosting podcasts aka interviewing people. He extracts really meaningful nuggets from his guests, about they way that they think, and lays them out to his listeners in simple and beautiful terms. Definitely recommend subscribing and listening to every episode!

Fantastic

Marc does a fantastic job of bringing folks who have different thought processes and different experiences in life together to help shine light on their ideas! I love hearing these perspectives!

Listen attentively, but think differently.

Really enjoyed the Episode 1 with Jason Feifer and his interview really delivers on the Think Differently theme. He has a great perspective and lots of great interview questions to get behind his thinking. Looking forward to future episodes.
