    "Heir To The Throne" | TP&C | Episode 105

Send us Fan Mail Episode 105 — Heir to the Throne Think Pieces and Conversations Podcast In Episode 105 of Think Pieces and Conversations, titled Heir to the Throne, I break down my weekend with the Marvel Tokon open beta on PC and PS5 — and why this game feels like something special is happening in the fighting game space. Before I even played the beta, I had a feeling that Marvel Tokon could be different. After finally getting hands-on with the game, playing with friends, testing characters, going into training mode, and feeling the energy of the gameplay, that feeling got even stronger. This game gives off a type of dopamine that I honestly haven’t felt since the Street Fighter 4 era. The characters feel interesting. The lab potential is there. The training mode is solid. The game has style, speed, creativity, and that “one more match” feeling that makes a fighting game dangerous in the best way. But even with all that potential, I also talk about the biggest concern: launch quality. The beta exposed some serious issues — frame rate problems, streaming problems, performance problems, and even PS5/Sony-related access issues on the first day. And honestly, I’m glad the beta found these problems now instead of the game launching with them later. If Marvel Tokon is going to become what I think it can become, it has to launch right. This episode is called Heir to the Throne because I believe Marvel Tokon has a real chance to challenge Street Fighter 6 for the top spot in fighting games. Street Fighter 6 is the current king, but Marvel Tokon feels like the prince waiting for the crown. Arc System Works may have something that can eventually de-crown Capcom and shift the entire fighting game conversation. I also connect this idea to Gears of War: E-Day. If Marvel Tokon represents the prince becoming king in the fighting game space, then Gears of War: E-Day represents the return of the king in third-person shooters. Two different genres. Two major opportunities. Two games with the potential to change their spaces. This episode is about potential, momentum, competition, legacy, and the feeling you get when a game might be bigger than people realize. Marvel Tokon may not have the crown yet. But it might already be the heir to the throne. "The Quiet Giant" | TP&C | Episode 104

Send us Fan Mail Think Pieces and Conversations — Episode 104: The Quiet Giant While Xbox and PlayStation raced to become larger—buying studios, increasing budgets, expanding services, and chasing the next industry-defining blockbuster—Nintendo continued moving differently. Quietly. Deliberately. Almost unnoticed beneath the noise of acquisitions, layoffs, live-service gambles, and escalating development costs, Nintendo kept strengthening the same foundation it had spent decades building: exclusive hardware, recognizable characters, creative gameplay, and intellectual property that grows more valuable with every generation. In The Quiet Giant, I examine why becoming a bigger corporation does not necessarily create better games—and why Nintendo’s restraint may be its greatest competitive advantage. This conversation explores the financial crisis facing AAA gaming, the danger of oversized projects, why uncontrolled expansion eventually leads to cancellations and layoffs, and how Xbox and PlayStation may have overlooked the most successful blueprint in the industry. Nintendo did not refuse to grow. It simply understood that growth should strengthen the identity of the company—not bury it beneath more spending, more studios, and more corporate weight. Xbox and PlayStation got bigger. Nintendo got smarter. And while everyone else was competing to make the most noise, the quiet giant continued building an empire. Hosted by @8leftearth. "There's Real Snow In Skyami" | TP&C | Episode 103

Send us Fan Mail Episode 103 — There’s Real Snow in Skyami Think Pieces and Conversations Podcast In Episode 103 of Think Pieces and Conversations, we step into the music lane with a full review of Future’s new album, The Real Me. Think Pieces and Conversations is not limited to politics, news, gaming, or personal life topics. This podcast is about the things that actually catch my attention, and music is one of those things. In this episode, I break down how I feel about The Real Me after listening to the album five times since its release. This is not a surface-level reaction. I go through the project, speak on the songs, compare this album to other Future projects, and explain why I rate it the way I do. I talk about what worked, what didn’t work, what stood out, and where this album fits in Future’s overall catalog. No music is played during this review. Because of copyright issues on YouTube and other platforms, I chose not to include the actual songs in the episode. This review is based on my voice, my breakdown, my opinion, and my honest reaction to the album. From the production to the energy, from Future’s delivery to the replay value, this episode is about whether The Real Me lives up to the standard Future has built throughout his career. This is a music review, a Future album breakdown, and a real conversation about where The Real Me lands in 2026. Episode 103 — There’s Real Snow in Skyami. "The Luxury Price Of Victimhood" | TP&C | Episode 102

Send us Fan Mail Episode 102 — The Luxury Price of Victimhood Think Pieces and Conversations Podcast In Episode 102 of Think Pieces and Conversations, titled The Luxury Price of Victimhood, I get into one of the most uncomfortable conversations I’ve had on this podcast so far. This episode comes from a place of mental pressure, reflection, frustration, and trying to understand why certain things in the culture keep rubbing me the wrong way. I talk about what people call “Black culture” and how certain ideas that sound good on the surface may actually be poisonous when they become a mindset, a lifestyle, or a political identity. This is not a Republican versus Democrat conversation. This is a deeper conversation about ideology, dependency, weakness, victimhood, and how modern neo-liberal thinking has affected the way many people see themselves, their power, their history, and their future. I ask a hard question: how long are we going to keep feeding ourselves thoughts that make us weaker? We come from people who were builders, inventors, kings, creators, and visionaries. But somewhere along the way, too many of us became comfortable selling instead of building, reacting instead of leading, and embracing victimhood as an identity instead of using pain as fuel. That is what I mean by the luxury price of victimhood. It may feel comfortable in the moment, but the cost is extremely high. I also speak on politics, personal experiences, bad business dealings, and the type of people who have actually stolen from me or done me wrong. I ask why weakness gets rewarded, why strength gets criticized, and why the culture sometimes seems more comfortable performing pain than producing power. I also give respect to the few Black podcasters and media figures I actually respect — the ones I believe are brave enough to say what needs to be said, even when it is unpopular. I explain why I respect them, why courage matters in media, and why I do not respect many others who I believe play it safe, sell narratives, or contribute to the same cycle they claim to oppose. This episode is not about hate. It is about accountability. It is about asking why victimhood has become so expensive, why so many people keep paying the price, and what it would take to finally move different. The Luxury Price of Victimhood is a conversation about culture, politics, weakness, bravery, business, self-respect, and the hard truth that not every idea that claims to help you is actually helping you. "The Luxury Of Entertainment" | TP&C | Episode 101

Send us Fan Mail Episode 101 — The Luxury of Entertainment Think Pieces and Conversations Podcast In Episode 101 of Think Pieces and Conversations, titled The Luxury of Entertainment, I discuss how entertainment has slowly turned into a luxury expense — especially in the world of gaming. Video games used to be one of the most accessible ways for people to relax, escape, compete, and relieve stress. But now, the cost of simply entertaining yourself is rising fast. Consoles are more expensive. PC parts are more expensive. Games are more expensive. DLC, microtransactions, subscriptions, collector’s editions, and in-game purchases all add up. Even outside of gaming, concerts, movies, and basic entertainment have become purchases that many people have to think twice about. In this episode, I break down how buying a new console can feel like making a major financial sacrifice. When systems are costing seven or eight hundred dollars — almost the price of a car note — people are forced to ask whether entertainment is still affordable or if it has become another luxury item in an inflated economy. I also talk about how this affects real life. When people can’t afford healthy ways to decompress, unwind, or enjoy themselves, that pressure can show up somewhere else. Gaming is one of the strongest forms of dopamine release for people who love it, and when that outlet becomes harder to access, it changes how people deal with stress, boredom, frustration, and even their environment. This episode is about more than video games. It’s about inflation, access, stress relief, modern entertainment, and how the cost of joy is becoming too high for everyday people. Entertainment used to be the escape. Now the escape is becoming expensive. This is The Luxury of Entertainment. "The Digital Ritual" | TP&C | Episode 100

Send us Fan Mail  Episode 100 — The Digital Ritual Think Pieces and Conversations Podcast In Episode 100 of Think Pieces and Conversations, titled The Digital Ritual, I break down the strange new reality of buying video games in a world where ownership is slowly disappearing. This episode starts with the conversation around Grand Theft Auto 6, pre-orders, and the idea of paying ahead of time for a game that may only exist as a digital license instead of something you physically own. At what point did pre-ordering stop feeling like buying a product and start feeling like participating in a digital ritual? I get into the bigger question behind all of this: do pre-orders still matter? If they do, what games actually deserve that level of trust? And if the industry is moving further away from physical ownership, what are gamers really paying for — a product, access, permission, or temporary convenience? I also talk about Sony removing hundreds of purchased movies from people’s digital libraries and how that situation exposes the real issue behind digital ownership. If something can be deleted, revoked, restricted, or made inaccessible when the internet is down, did you ever truly own it? From there, I compare the direction of GTA 6 with Gears of War: E-Day, which still offers a physical copy and collector’s edition. That difference matters. It raises a bigger conversation about the future of gaming, physical media, collector culture, ownership rights, and the growing push toward a world where people own less while being told to accept it. This episode is about more than video games. It’s about the agenda of owning nothing and being happy, the erosion of consumer control, and why physical copies still matter in a digital-first world. Pre-order culture. Digital licenses. No physical copies. Deleted libraries. Internet dependency. Collector’s editions. Gamer ownership. This is The Digital Ritual. #GTA6 #GrandTheftAuto6 #GTA6PreOrder #DigitalOnlyGames #PhysicalGames #PhysicalMedia #GameOwnership #DigitalOwnership #GearsOfWarEDay #Xbox #PlayStation #GamingNews #VideoGamePodcast #GamePreservation #OwnNothingAndBeHappy #DigitalLibrary #CollectorEdition #ThinkPiecesAndConversations #Podcast #Episode100  Support the show 📌 CHECK OUT ALL MY LINKS BELOW: 🎥 Full Podcast Episodes → https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLd8ZSGCdMCUoK0sIvzSNbMWMkyld4WwIq 🌐 Linktree with Everything I Do → linktr.ee/8leftearth 📱 TikTok → https://www.tiktok.com/8LeftEarth 🐦 X / Twitter →  https://www.twitter.com/8LeftEarth 📸 Instagram → https://www.instagram.com/8LeftEarth 🎮 Twitch Streams → https://www.twitch.tv/8LeftEarth 🎧APPLE: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/think-pieces-conversations/id1720075527 🎧Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/2dAWnvVTtDniIiaLsR4hY8?  si=b512a11cdad04756 🎧Amazon Music: https://music.amazon.com/podcasts/15ca65e1-07a0-456d-896b-6055340bea1f/think-pieces-conversations 🎧Deezer: https://deezer.page.link/dNvQ4k9DFnVaWyan9 To purchase Beats from video Hit the link below: 🎙🎤🎶 www.beatstars.com/8LeftEarth 📩EMAIL ME: 8leftearthinc@gmail.com (SERIOUS INQUIRIES)

    "Idle Hands" | TP&C | Episode 99

Send us Fan Mail Episode 99 — Idle Hands Think Pieces and Conversations Podcast In Episode 99 of Think Pieces and Conversations, titled Idle Hands, I break down the meaning behind the phrase “idle hands are the devil’s playground” and why that message feels more relevant now than ever. We are living in a time where everything is fighting for our focus. News cycles, social media, relationships, entertainment, fear, politics, sports, war, distractions, and algorithms are constantly pulling us left, right, up, and down. Every day something new is placed in front of us to capture our attention, trigger our emotions, and harvest our energy. In this episode, I talk about why I’m surprised I haven’t gone crazy — and the reason is purpose. When your hands are not idle, when you have a mission, when you have something you are building, the distractions don’t penetrate the same way. Whether other people understand your purpose or think it’s silly does not matter. What matters is that your energy is being used for something active, productive, and intentional. I also discuss how fear and distraction are used to pull energy from people. Whether it’s global conflict, the NBA Finals, the Strait of Hormuz, politics, celebrity drama, or the next crisis being pushed into the timeline, everything is designed to make you react. But once you understand the game, you can take that same energy and transmute it. As above, so below. There is always something positive that can be pulled from the negative, and something negative that can be pulled from the positive. The key is awareness. Instead of allowing distractions to control you, you can use the emotion they create and redirect it into discipline, purpose, creativity, and action. This episode is about focus, spiritual warfare, purpose, energy, transmutation, and refusing to become a tool for distraction. Idle hands leave room for chaos. Purpose keeps you moving. "The Future Is Told Through Numbers" | TP&C | Episode 98

Send us Fan Mail Episode 98 — The Future Is Told Through Numbers Think Pieces and Conversations Podcast In this episode of Think Pieces and Conversations, I dive into the language of numbers — numerology, angel numbers, synchronicities, repeated patterns, and the codes that seem to appear when you’re spiritually aware enough to notice them. There are moments in life where numbers keep showing up. It may be one number, a repeated sequence, a combination, or a pattern that follows you throughout the day. To some people, it looks random. But when you’re in sync, when your eyes are open, and when you’re walking the path you’re supposed to be on, those numbers can feel like messages. In this episode, I talk about how numbers can speak to the past, present, and future all at once. The universe may be trying to tell you something, but you have to be aware enough to catch it. You have to be present enough to recognize the message instead of dismissing it as coincidence. We also get into angel numbers, numerology, spiritual codes, and how these patterns can serve as guidance, confirmation, warning, or strategy. When you are ready to receive the message, the numbers start making sense. They become a language. They become a signal. They become a way for the universe — or the angels — to communicate with you. The future may not always arrive through words. Sometimes it comes through patterns. Sometimes it comes through repetition. Sometimes it comes through numbers you keep seeing until you finally stop and pay attention. The future is told through numbers.  But maybe numbers are bigger than that. Maybe numbers are the language of the past, the present, and the future — all speaking at the same time.
