Think Studio is about sharing our ideas and knowledge of Real Estate and Construction software in the terms of owning software in-house vs paying other SAAS companies monthly service fees / annual fees every single year. I have a slight feeling of being of service in many companies big and small. Even though we offer SAAS service for our customers I feel there are some companies that absolutely need it and some that really don't need it all the time. Meaning there is a time and place when just getting updates will be more than enough.

    Early Database Development For Real Estate

    In this video, my Father Chuck Maciel and I get on a facetime call to talk about many different topics from me being Cameron Maciel and His son and venturing onto developing software full time from creating a new Real Estate Version in Filemaker Pro based on the first version of my dad software he had made with a friend in MS access. My father gives insight on his discovery in custom software in the late 90s and early 2000s before the internet took over and make everything an annual subscription - before lots of companies had custom software developed to solve their everyday problems to make business easier and manageable.   We move deeper into real estate and the reasons why it would be good to make the commitment to business a database solution outright with the right company backing continuous maintenance for the years to come. Just because software becomes discontinued doesn't mean you also have to keep updating and being charged for that individual software.   This is something I'm discovering on my own to figure out if this is something that I can bring to market at scale and help all the small guys in many different businesses.   If you have business questions related to a custom database wanted in Filemaker Pro, Real Estate Database, or even Construction Databases.
