    Episode 4 - The Economics of Tobacco Taxes with Frank Chaloupka, PhD.

    This is the 4th episode of the Upstream Public Health Podcast. We are extremely excited to have Dr. Frank Chaloupka joining us today along with our host, Jill Hutson. Dr. Chaloupka  is a research professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Has gotten awards, from among others, the World Health Organization. He has written over 200 articles on tobacco taxes, and as Jill likes to say, he is an international tobacco economics rock star. In this podcast he talks about the overall economics of tobacco taxes, dispels some misconceptions, and gives details about what a tobacco tax could mean in the State of Oregon.
