At ThinkThru-TalkThru we believe each one of us has the power to take charge of our own lives, to choose agency and develop our potential.     The different types of grief and loss

    Many losses have been experienced in the last year and a half. When they accumulate without intervention they can cause what is called compound grief. We need to explore ways of giving grief some space for expression now so that it does not take over our lives later.

    #Deeppressure has been shown to help #RegulateAutonomicYourNervousSystem, decrease the #stress hormone #cortisol and increase the production of #serotonin and #dopamine, the so-called happy hormones. Everyone is different, so experiment with the length of time you use this method for, and see what works for you. Perhaps you can curl up under a heavy blanket while you are taking a break with a relaxing movie, series, podcast or book?
