I enjoy the podcast, I really do. There are times where the ladies each really fail to acknowledge their privilege, and it can be grating to hear it alongside their rather successful stories of navigating rett. Let’s be real, they have navigated it better than others. As a special needs parent, I just feel like it’s a really under treated topic on this podcast. Edited to add: I also wish Jenny was a little nicer. She is extremely patronizing to Heidi, interrupts (it’s maddening), and overall gives off this vibe that she’s…better/more knowledgeable/correct…it can be hard to listen to. At times I want to hear what Heidi has to say, but she’s eclipsed by Jenny’s talking over her.
