We’re back, covering the gayest show on tv— the one thing we’re sure to agree on! We might share unpopular opinions about Tom Hanks, contemplate how sporty lesbians flirted in the 1940s, and break down the introduction of protagonists—Carson and Max— as well as the lovely supporting players that make this show a blast!

Interview with Felicia D. Henderson: The Council of Lesbians

Interview with Felicia D. Henderson: The Council of Lesbians

We were fortunate enough to have showrunner and legend Felicia D. Henderson join us! We had a real and genuine conversation about racism in Hollywood, what creating a diverse workplace really means, and of course her vision for Calliette and First Kill. This chat happened before the cancellation of the show, but we feel like this conversation was too good to not share with you!

This podcast is the ship and I’m in love!

Kaity and V make my day every single episode. Their giggles are infections and the way they break down every episode of a show is so thought out and truthful. I really like the way they banter back and forth. It’s mostly how they speak not only about the women (and sometimes men) in the shows they are talking about, but how they speak to each other. They lift each other up and fan girl about the others ideas. You can tell just by listening how much fun they have together and doing something they enjoy! It’s definitely a women lifting up other women podcast and I think it’s something we all need right now. They share their own experiences and have a ball telling stories. It really does feel like a chat with friends geeking out about the same thing. LOVE IT!

Been a fan for a few years!

Ever since the show talked about the Half of It by Alice Wu, I’ve been hooked. Loved their analysis and gushing about lesbian & sapphic ships. Love the queer women of color perspective and the way they look at media with a feminist and queer lens. Thank you guys so much for all that you guys do!
