On this 3rd party we've got Becca Ganey of Boston and two international Patreon subscribers, Coleman Hegarty of Ireland and Maciej Taubert of Poland. TMBP 'round the world, baby! Listen in to the VIPs as we talk about the success of TMBG at preserving a fanbase through generations and how they have attained one of the broadest age range of any rock bands' fanbase.

Kurt and Denise Schiller of the Parents Just Don't Understand podcast come on the show to complete our crossover and they picked one of the greatest TMBG kids songs, I Am A Paleontologist. Many props are given to Danny Weinkauf throughout the episode as we dissect what makes this a perfect kids song, and we find a lot of charming covers including one by Greg's 1st graders from earlier this spring.

Far from Reprehensible

Really enjoy Greg’s style. He spends time talking about the band with an ever changing list of colorful and varied co-hosts. His style highlights his love of the music and real appreciation for the people he talks with. It’s irreverent, but the tangents highlight his love and appreciation for the people that guest on the show. Regarding the comments other reviews have made on cover songs... I personally love that he looks for opportunities to feature other fans’ covers. He has opinions, but they seem far from harsh. He seems pretty inclusive to me. Sensitive much people?!?

Speaking as a long time TMBG fan that has been a fan in isolation (I can’t seem to find anyone else around where I live that are fans), it’s nice to have this conduit to share my love of the band. The podcast has made me think on and appreciate songs I haven’t given enough time to study. What more can a fan ask for? And jeez, there are other podcasts out there about this band too!!! It is truly a great time to love TMBG!!!
