    Season 10 grooves right along with the return of yet another dear friend-of-the-pod. This week it’s everyone’s favorite Brit Down Under - Joe Rivers! You might recall Joe’s first appearance on the pod, during which we got schooled on the late hyper-pop elder SOPHIE, it was a banger. Joe’s bringing disco heat this week in the form of “C’est Chic” by Chic.  You’ll certainly know this album’s tentpole track - “Le Freak” - if you haven’t been living with a tribe of isolated Amazonian hunter-gatherers for the last 50 years. But as you might imagine, Joe does a bang-up job of expressing how this album is so much more than a freak out at a wedding. Disco is JOY. And we couldn’t agree more with Joe’s stance that we could all use a bit more unabashed joy in our lives.
