The SZN Podcast is a raw journey of self-reflection to discuss the seasons we go through in life and how we can use these seasons to help others feel seen and not alone in the seasons. The goal is to help the listener reflect on these seasons whether the best season, limited series or worst season of their life all while being real and vulnerable.     the comeback kid | episode 19

    As I have been on my healing journey, I learned healing doesn’t come from attention, is come from accountability. Vulnerability can be scary; however, I feel in the season I am in currently, I need to speak to my truths and what I experienced dating and being married to a Narcissist. I truly never knew how to describe how I felt in the relationship until I was on the outside looking in and did some reflection. We discuss traits of a narcissist and some ways we can disarm them to co-exist in this world. We can't change people, but we can learn to change how we engage and protect our peace from narcissist.

    seasons (shrinking) | episode 18

    Where do you go when the dust settles, and you are left looking back at the areas of your life you have still not faced, processed, or healed from. In this episode, we discuss how we never know how much we have processed or grown from until we truly face situations we have tried to escape by drowing ourselves in the noise and distractions of life. We also dive into one of my favorite shows, Shrinking and how I found healing through this television series in seeing myself in the characters and different seasons of my life. Its important to remember we will never be who we were before the hurt and loss in life as it changes you. Life will happen. Endings are inevitable, however, that does not mean new chapters can’t be written. Letting go of the past just means you don’t allow your scars to hold you back anymore.

    Happy New Year and Happy One Year Anniversary to the Podcast! I am grateful for all the love and support we have received. As we enter the spring season again and enter a new season of the podcast, we discuss letting go of what you can't control. Remember where you are in life is for a reason. At times, we may not understand why things happen to us, but over time you will understand why doors were possibly closed and why situations occurred. It is easier said than done to let go of what we can't control, however, we can choose how we react.  Remember you are enough.

    It's the final episode of 2025. I reflect on this year. The ups, the downs, and the lessons learned. In the one and only episode from the winter season, I discuss the significance of the break I took and how it aligns with winter being a season about slowing down, introspection, and letting go of what no longer servers me as I prepare for this new season and year of 2026. Life changes your plans at times and it can be easy to feel like you didn't accomplish things in 2025 but reflect with compassion, not criticism.

    It’s important to stop and reflect on how much you have been able to overcome instead of focusing always on future outcomes and getting overwhelmed. In my most vulnerable episode to date I discuss life after divorce, the ups and downs, and how far I've come. Remember failures we have experienced refine us, they don’t define us. "All the adversity I’ve had in my life, all my troubles and obstacles, have strengthened me." – Walt Disney.

    In this episode, we reflect on my time away, as it's been a long time since I have recorded. We discuss past failures in new opportunities and understand that you are not a failure for trying, you just failed, and failure happens. We discuss how important it is to not identify yourself as a failure, or you will stay stuck in the mindset and never trust again.     Control: The power to influence or direct people's behavior or the course of events. In this episode, we discuss the irony of how control is an illusion as we are unable to control others but we can control how we react to situations. We also dive into situations I have experienced over the past few months that have caused me to take a hiatus from the podcast that were out of my own control We cannot always control what’s outside, but we can control what goes inside.

    Summertime is finally here. As the SZN changes, the focus changes. Summer signifies peak productivity, achievement, enjoyment of life's fruits, and strong connections with others.  In this episode we discuss, men's mental health awareness month. Additionally, we discuss how summer is a significant season in my life all while diving into the journey and self discovery I made in the past week. Lastly, we discuss how vulnerability should be celebrated and it's not a sign of weakness.
