Dope As Can Be!
Five stars for this podcast! There’s always more to learn and this podcast supplies the info in a never-dull, conversational, revealing way.
If we, the Whites in this country, are the ones who need to do the work of dismantling racism then we need to be aware of it in all shapes and forms. I am a white woman, USA citizen- born and raised- and I solidly believe in the validity of the if/then statement! For this show there’s no lack for material because , in Amerikka, Racism is EVERYWHERE.
Jasiri, Miracle, Farooq and Shyheim vibe together with their unique chemistry and break down the week’s current events with piercing insight, sobering truthfulness and raucous humor. That last piece adds some relief since the material they have to work with is truly so painful-but-real for our times. Together they offer a brilliant working knowledge of history, the law, the human condition and the culture that makes Amerikkka what it is.
I’ve found myself laughing out loud, sitting to pause and ponder my own complicity, and generally leaving after listening with fresh insight and motivation for change.
I wholeheartedly recommend others listen too. This is as dope as a podcast on this subject matter can be and well worth every minute of your time!
Great job
Great job spreading the hate! You achieve nothing by what you’re doing. But - I guess your community is used to that.
