Have you ever thought about the Popular Evangelical Women’s Ministry in America today? Do you read books by popular authors, attend their "bible" studies, and sold-out conferences? Do you ever wonder if these produce the maturity they claim to encourage? Perhaps you have spent hours reading books and attending conferences and feel no more mature in your Christian walk than you did 5, 10, or even 20 years ago? Or maybe you're a discerning woman who understands that there is something wrong but can’t put your finger on it or articulate why there seems to be a problem.

Thoroughly Equipped is a podcast for women-centered on Sola Scriptura. This is the doctrine that the Scriptures are all we need for salvation and spiritual living. They are God-breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness so the man or woman of God may be... not a little, not even a lot, but THOROUGHLY/COMPLETELY equipped for EVERY good work.

This podcast takes the popular Evangelical Women’s ministry teachings, books, podcasts, conferences, "bible" studies, etc., and compares them to Scripture. The purpose of which is to show just how Sufficient Scripture is to equip us to be Godly women.

    Thinking Biblically about Education

    Thoroughly Equipped S.2 Ep.15

Taking a short break before we dive into the 4th part of T.E.'s series evaluating Jennie Allen's IF: ministry.

During the break I thought I'd share with you a workshop I presented at Victory Bible Church's Home Education Conference early on in August.

In this workshop I look at some of the main philosophies behind our current system of education, discuss God's calling to parents to train up their children, his hand in our vocation as parents, and the vocation that God has called our children to in his providence.

    Topics include:

The 7 main educational philosophies that direct the world's idea of education
Why do we need to think biblically about education?
Looking at 2 lost doctrines that will help us think biblically about education

    The Doctrine of Vocation
    The Doctrine of Providence

What does the doctrine of Vocation and the doctrine of Providence have to do with Education?

May this episode bless you and glorify God!

    Thoroughly Equipped S.2 Ep. 13

In this episode we are critiquing the last session of the 2020 IF:Gathering conference where Jennie Allen had each of the speakers present a message on a portion of Romans 8. Sadie Robertson-Huff was given Rom. 8:39 to give a message on.

    Topics include:

Looking over Romans 8:31-39 in context
Will Sadie's message change the hearts of these women?
    Looking at John 21
Does the charcoal fire recorded in John 21 have anything to do with "remembering our past" as we meet with God?
Can we miss out on what God's doing in our life if we "turn" to observe what God is doing in other people's lives?
Do our testimonies have the power to raise the dead to life?

Bianca Juarez Olthoff Message Review (IF:Gathering Series pt.3 Teaching cont.)

    Thoroughly Equipped S.2 Ep.11

    Topics included in this episode:

What is Romans 8:31-37 all about?

What does Paul mean by "we are more than conquerors"?

How are we more than conquerors?

Who's power is being emphasized in Romans 8:31-37?

I HIGHLY suggest you listen to Martin Lloyd Jones' sermon titled "More Than Conquerors"(link provided below) and compare it to what I've played for you. What a difference!

Conscientious Mom ,

Biblical womanhood - Excellent!!

I just found this podcast this last week through a homeschool Facebook page. It has been excellent and has really convicted me and confirmed some things I have been discerning for a while. Having followed many of the popular Christian women teachers for several years and also having been involved in a works based seeker friendly church in my past, much like Melba, so much of this resonates with me. I encourage younger women to listen to this, read your Bible, and choose His ways for your life, home, family, rather than the feminist influences that have overwhelmed the church.
