Thought Cops

If you spend any amount of time viewing or participating in online discourse and have thoughts about it, this is the podcast to listen to. I just want to help support the homies and hear Kevin fart on mic so that when all the Musk-heads listen back to this after their beef - there's an in-episode timestamp we can refer them to.

Thought Cops is about the best show I’ve found that is “topical” in a way that doesn’t instantly date itself, which is probably because it’s a comedy podcast, but it’s also very thoughtful. It does a good job of pulling insights from the baffling/silly/absurd news stories it talks about. Also, the stories are usually so absurd/flash-in-the-pan that listening to older episodes just further exacerbates the weird flash-in-the-pan “news” culture we live in, since these days a week goes by and anything from last week is “dated” anyway. All to say this is a really fun podcast, very silly and serious at once, and highly recommend anyone give it a listen. The theme song is also probably the best in the biz.

Join Kevin and Grant as they take on the most annoying, toxic, cringy, and otherwise problematic characters and content from the internet. The problem I have with a lot of podcasts is they don’t have a clear and properly sized scope. Not the case with Thought Cops. If you’ve ever ranted about something ppl are doing on facebook or twitter, these guys have probably talked about it. Give em a listen.
