    We celebrate so much and just as much fight so much. It is nearing the time of the year for celebration but let's not forget that many celebrations have histories of pain and blood underneath them... mostly as a result of the colonial encounter. I do not mean to scare you I only implore you.. implore us to not go b broke while celebrating lol but also how to fix the colonial disease that cause us to fight so many things in our lives.     I am back after a life induced hiatus to first say thank you… for sticking it out with me. Lets talk about surviving an apocalypse… lmao. Anyway, dont take yourself or life too seriously.. eat some good food, drink a cup of tea or wine, dance off beat, sing off key (just not next to me 👀) …inhale, watch the sunset through the hole in your roof, exhale.     It is so unsettling that the year 2020 has brought a lot of abuse to light. SARS...SARS..SARS.. The so called Special Anti-Robery Unit of Nigeria is more of a civilian harassing organization that uses the uniforms it dons to torment, abuse and even kill our brothers and sisters. The only difference between this brutality and what happens in the USA is that these are own people. Please Black lives EVERYWHERE matter, lets speak up and stand with our brothers and sisters in Nigeria. Music: Michaels Jackson - They don't care about us (I do not own the rights to this song)

    We continue our conversation with our mature men to get a better understanding of what it means to be a man. We continue our community series to get perspective on each other so we can get a better understanding of ourselves...holistically. The only way we truly grow is when we do it together.     Community Series Intro

    There is no one formula for development but a good place to start is with understanding each other. Too many of the problems we face are because people do not listen to other people who are not like them. The community series will be an ongoing conversation with different groups within our Black communities globally to get perspective on the lens through which they see and the nerves through which they experience life. Open-mindedness is essential to considering other people when making decisions. We are individual stars in our own "life-show" collectively though, we can create a blockbuster!
