A living planet of a podcast

In its original form of Thrawncast, this podcast was a great bridge between the Legends and canon universes via the common thread of Thrawn. Now, after being worldshaped into Vongcast, Bria, Rocky, and Megan dive head- and heart-first into the New Jedi Order, tapping into both vast reserves of knowledge about Legends and deep wells of personal feelings about their time reading these books. It’s this double whammy of information and passion that makes Vongcast such a compelling listen. If you have been affected by any of the issues raised in the NJO, or are even just curious about that behemoth of a book series, take it from three fans who were there, and are total fountains of facts and feels.

Riveting! Hooked Me From the Start

Although I reread the NJO over 1 year ago, I want know more insights on the series. The three ladies of Thrawncast (Vongcast) have a solid understanding of a lot of things, and not only "Star Wars." They provide information Bantam vs. Del Rey that I never picked up on before. There are some hilarious insights on writing in general, the characters, and the story overall.

As such, I'm learning quite a bit, including what others think about the NJO, which is refreshing to me.
1. The NJO is definitely a uniquely supreme subseries in the EU.
2. While I know a lot of SW fans and we've discussed the NJO, it hasn't been detailed like this--just brushing the surface. So this is new to me; an exciting audio endeavor.

An incredible podcast on the New Jedi Order. These three wonderful hosts guide the discussion on characters and character motivations in ways that make me envy their understanding.
