    063 Musical Moon Cabbage

    Send us a text The artistic drum beats differently in each and every one of us. For some, it finds it’s rhythm in the carving of wood or the molding of clay or the capturing of an image or the raising of offspring. For the wordsmith, abstract symbols on a page are gathered to form a word which combines with others to import meaning which then become the backbone of the song or the poem and the listener becomes the vessel into which beauty and meaning are whispered into life. So much about which to write… so many topics… so much beauty… and yet this episode  we turn our bloodshot eyes towards the songs that salute the innocuous pleasures of getting high on some decent weed. That’s right folks, if you were looking for some small morsel of intellectual nourishment, oops! This month we celebrate the songs that extol the wonders of weed.

    Send us a text When the season starts to turn toward the longer nights and shorter days, we choose to battle back with some musical "medicare." This episode splits down a couple of pathways. Jerry leans into the songs that most dealt with references to the fall season, BillyBobb not so much. Instead, he chose to pick all of his favorite songs that incorporate the word "MOON" in the title or the content. Still, in all, it has made for a great podcast. This month's episode features tunes that deal with the prognosis of aging at various stages in life. When we are younger, the songs are about the great possibilities of life.
