And if not, what's it still missing? We play armchair game dev for an hour and a half and unpack the difficulty of modeling both the beginning and the end of one of humankind's most momentous centuries with a common set of mechanics.

What gaming podcasts should be

Informed experienced strategy game fans talking about what they know. Unlike nearly every games podcast this isn’t the exact same discussion every week about the same 3 big budget games stating the same boring viewpoints over and over. These are genuine, informed, experienced fans and professionals discussing games they love in a genre they love. It’s detailed, interesting, and exactly what games podcasts should be.

Great gamer podcast

I’ve been a fan of Rob Zacny and his reviews and opinions of strategy games for years, in print and other podcasts. Although he isn’t on every cast the crew, Len/Ian/Rowan, are doing an excellent job. I’ve only recently rediscovered my love of RTS and strategy games and I’ve been binging on older episodes. Highly recommend this cast

I don't even like strat games that much

But I can't really find insightful game podcasts other than this and they sometimes cover stuff I care about.
