    Since settling in Cyprus this August, I have been trying to get motivated to work on the podcast again. But OMG so much has changed since we last talked! I went to Italy recently to celebrate my anniversary, so what better time than now to dip the toes back into this medium? My partner in thrift crimes, and life, Marsh, decided to interview me about what makes Rome and other hotspots in Italy so great for thrifters and vintage collectors.     I must confess we went to Malaga for work and much to my delight, I loved this city and the thrifting was really great, much better than Ireland and on par with Portugal. The beaches were breathtaking, the architecture was stunning and the weather was lovely at that time of year, alternating between chilly and warm, , the sights were truly enchanting. I never took a train, bus or car, the city is very walkable (wear comfy shoes though). And my god the PASTRIES! We went all over the place but our favorite spots were some tourist locations truly worth the hype and some off the beaten path parks.     This week I tell you about my most recent thrift trip finds, the problems with Anchor sponsorship due to changes since the pandemic, and I talk with Keyana Michel pronounced (Key-Yana) (Me-Shell). Key is a 29 year old resale fashion entrepreneur from Boston, Massachusetts. She runs are sale fashion media brand called Key To Fashion and the community organization Blacks Who Thrift, inspired by her Narts conference trip to Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2017. As a Black woman, what stuck with her was that "People were constantly telling me along my journey how 'Black people don’t thrift' and it’s something that we don’t do; and I knew that wasn’t true... I was so driven and motivated to create a community that looked like me, and loved thrifting just as much as I do. I was driven to create a movement."
