Thrivetablepodcast

hello and welcome to our podcast! We are Adeola and Salem, two Nigerian women loving life, living loud, and shaping culture who love to talk about socio-political things with each other and want to bring these discussions to our larger community. For too long the loudest stories we've heard about African people on a global scale have been told by Western voices. Obviously we can and do speak for ourselves, so we want this podcast to be a place where you get to hear raw, nuanced and often untold stories of living at the intersections of womanhood and west African. Exploring difficult issues of how we shape society, and how we make decisions globally based on our identities as West African people who live in the Western spaces like Europe and the US. Happy listening
