I love the podcast, I feel as if I’m reading the series for the first time as you comb through every detail and share such wise, poignant, and hilarious insight! My question isn’t so much a question as an invitation for you guys to talk about the very heartfelt way that Dumbledore knew and Trusted hagrid in such a way that he had HAGRID go pick Harry up from the ruins of his home and care for him a whole day, and then 10 years later Dumbledore has Hagrid introduce Harry to their world, and through this giving Harry that emotional connection from an adult he’s been missing all his life. Yup im crying.
Best podcast ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my favorite podcast and I’ve seen all your videos twice and this is one of the two podcasts I have listened too multiple times, but I have a question, after Elvis the headmaster dies if Snape becomes a secret keeper of number 12 grimold place why didn’t Voldemort realize he was a spy because he didn’t tell Voldemort. P.S. hogwarts is a dragon and filch is a poltergeist

Absolutely love this podcast. I was a fan of the theory videos but fell off because there was so much Harry Potter content! I’d never seen the movies, read the books or had any interested. Fast forward 8 years - I met and married my husband who’d been a life long fan of HP. Earlier this year i decided to rebind a set of the big 7 for my husband’s birthday and then read the story for myself. Like Umbridge 🤮🤮 I’m rewriting my history. I’ve never not been a fan of the series or denied it’s greatness!! My question to you is: If James and Lily and the marauders (minus wormtail) would have lived to be a part of the second Order of the Phoenix, would we have met more of their childhood enemies? I started wondering this after reading about the first interaction Vernon and James had shortly before the pair graduated Hogwarts. The wizarding world describes a scene in Petunia’s backstory that sheds more light on just how well matched the Dursleys’ are. Lily wants her sister to meet her new boyfriend, but Vernon, being a boastful man, didn’t appreciate the fact that there was literally nothing that he could belittle James about. If Vernon, Snape, and Petunia could hold on to the envy of James and Lily (respectively) and let it shape their worldview so much, wouldn’t their be more like them?

Hey Brother!! This podcast is brilliant. It’s honestly just like sitting and have a conversation. I’ve read and listened to the books multiple times. It’s great to hear not only some of the same insights I’ve had but things I haven’t thought of. I’ve been a Carlin Bros fan for years but stayed away from the podcast. That was a mistake now I’m binging the heck out of it. I do have a thought and would like your opinion on it. What if James didn’t stop Snape from going down the tunnel when Sirius told him where Lupin went every month?
