Through The Grit

April Terrell & Heather Ann Terrell

Where soulful conversations and steady practices help us move through life's gritty edges with grace. Life has a way of shaping us — through change, uncertainty, and the moments that ask us to gather our strength in new ways. Through the Grit is a space where sisters April and Heather open the door to honest, heart-centered conversations about what it means to live, grow, heal, and keep showing up. Rooted in April's grounding practices of mindfulness, meditation, and Buddhist teachings, and Heather's devotion to yoga, self-love, embodiment, and spiritual connection, this podcast explores how simple, steady practices can carry us through even the roughest edges of life. Soft, soulful, sometimes messy, always real — this is a place to breathe, to feel, and to remember that we don't walk the gritty parts of the journey alone.

In this first episode, sisters April and Heather share the heart behind why this podcast was created — a space for honest conversations, grounding practices, and gentle reminders that we do not have to navigate life's hardest moments alone. Together, we explore the experiences that shaped us, the practices that continue to support us, and our hope for creating a space where people can breathe, reflect, heal, and reconnect with themselves through life's messy and meaningful moments. Rooted in mindfulness, meditation, yoga, embodiment, self-love, and spiritual connection, Through The Grit is an invitation to slow down and remember that even in uncertainty, there can still be softness, presence, and grace.
