Welcome to the Through the Point Podcast, the world's #1 (and only) javelin-specific podcast!

This week I interviewed Tom Pukstys who is a 6x US champ, 2x Olympian, and former American record holder

He had a truly amazing career as a thrower but is also so well known as a coach through the country and world

Tom is someone I knew personally when he lived in Illinois before moving to Alabama

He is the main coach for the USA Javelin Project which features so many elite American throwers

This was an awesome interview and I'm sure you're all going to enjoy it!

Welcome to the Through the Point Podcast, the world's #1 (and only) javelin-specific podcast!

This week I had on a familiar voice in my good friend Kara Winger

She may hate me now after joking this whole week about her harassing me to come on (:

In all seriousness, Kara is always an amazing guest and one of my most enjoyable conversations

She is rehabbing her second torn ACL and she provided a ton of awesome injury advice while also digging deeper into her personal life

I always appreciate her taking the time out of her busy schedule to come on and share some words of wisdom!

You can check her out on Instagram @karathrowsjav and check out my page @throughthepoint_podcast

    Thanks for listening and enjoy!

Episode 32: Division I All-Americans Sindri Gudmundsson and Jesse Newman

Welcome to the Through the Point Podcast, the world's #1 (and only) javelin-specific podcast!

This week I was able to sit down and talk with two of the NCAA's top throwers

I loved this interview because of how different their journeys were to the top and how well they handled their seasons being canceled

Jesse is a fifth-year thrower at Grand Canyon University and Sindri is a sixth-year thrower  (like myself) now at Mississippi State

Definitely tune in to hear about how they go to their positions! Thanks to both of you for coming on

Episode 31: 2019 World Championship Silver-Medalist Magnus Kirt

Episode 31: 2019 World Championship Silver-Medalist Magnus Kirt

Welcome to the Through the Point podcast, the world’s #1 (and only) javelin-specific podcast!

This week I was fortunate enough to have on my FIRST 90 meter guest in the left-handed Estonian, Magnus Kirt

Magnus has a personal best of 90.61m, was a silver-medalist at the 2019 World Championships, and competed in the 2016 Olympics

It was really cool to learn about his background as an athlete in Estonia (a country I knew nothing about) as well as why he decided to not compete in 2020

He also does not think that left handed throwers have any disadvantages compared to righties, so get rid of all of those myths! Haha.

He is a guest who doesn’t need much more of an introduction, so just check this one out!

You can follow him on Instagram @magnuskirt and check out my page @throughthepoint_podcast

    Thanks for listening and enjoy!

Great for practicing

I love listening to the podcast while I’m throwing or working on stuff for throwing or even working at the shop it’s very interesting to see different peoples perspectives on throwing and Scott keeps the show interesting!

Scott Fuch’s is the MAN

Love listening to this podcast, and highly recommend for all track and field fans interested in the mysterious cloud of ambiguity (Translation in the US: “Javelin”). I usually listen in the shower or while brushing my teeth, then transfer it to my car when I drive, but any way you choose to listen I’m sure you’ll like it.

Great Content and community!

This podcast has been a great way to pull a javelin community together on a new media platform. It’s great to hear stories and points of view of so many different javelin throwers from all over!
