I absolutely love each episode the Steve puts out, and I am always looking forward to hearing his thoughts on new topics. He seems like a down to earth guy that makes interesting insights.

Knowledgeable host that mostly covers the very highest end watch brands. Production started strong but has slipped in recent months from sounding like a studio environment to sounding like a phone call you wish the other person would take off speakerphone. I was hoping it was a temporary situation but seems to be the new normal. Hoping for a return to better audio quality and that some constructive feedback helps.

I’ve heard about every ancillary topic except any actual watch talk, save for the sales pitches at the end. Could be so much more enjoyable if focused on watches rather than Basel, safes, building a collection, philosophical digression, etc.

I knew that I loved watches from a very young age. I've now relocated from Los Angeles to New York City for law school. When I started collecting watches, I was fascinated with Panerai, Rolex and IWC. Although there is still a spot in my heart for the aformentioned brands, Steve Hallock has singlehadedly manifested in me a love for independent watches. Although a law student's budget cannot support a haute horology collection, listening to this podcast gives me access to opinions and insider information that I will eventually use to build my collection. Given the amount of profit that can be generated by acquiring an insider's perspective of an otherwise esoterric industry, I sometimes wonder why Steve isnt charging people to listen to these--its basically a consultation session. The Youtube videos led me to the Instagram that led me here, and I think this is the crown jewel. Keep recording these please!
