Timberlake Christian School, founded in 1966, is a ministry of Timberlake Baptist Church. Our vision is to be a discipleship and educational institution for young people in order to develop in them a passion for glorifying God and train them for a life consistent with a biblical world-and-life view.

Foundations Pt. 3: Creation (Genesis 1:1-2:3 - 09/13/2023)
In the debate over the origins of the universe, the question really comes down to this: who is our ultimate authority? In the third message of our secondary chapel series on Genesis 1-3, we argued that the Bible, as God's special revelation to humanity, carries the authority of God Himself. With this in mind, we then made several observations about the creation account in Genesis, kicking off a month-long emphasis here at TCS on a biblical view of creation.

Foundations Pt. 2: God (Genesis 1:1 - 08/30/2023)
Four words into Genesis 1, a huge question emerges: "Who is God?" Mr. Hunter sought to scratch the surface of answering that very important question by taking a journey through the Bible in this second part of our 'Foundations' series in Genesis 1-3.

Summer Family Podcast: BONUS EPISODE
And just when you thought the Summer Family Podcast Series was over, we're back!! In this special behind-the-scenes episode, our campus pastor, Jacob Hunter, interviewed history professor Dr. Ben Esswein, who contributed much of the research for this series. Among other things, we discussed the question: "Why should we study church history, anyway?"

Summer Family Podcast #5: John Calvin - Soli Deo Gloria
For the final episode of our Summer Family Podcast series, we were able to have a conversation with a truly legendary name from church history: Pastor John Calvin! Pastor Calvin shared his story with us, and through Calvin's life, we learned that our purpose as human beings is to live for God's glory alone - and through the work of Jesus, we can now properly live for God's glory by the Spirit's power.
Many thanks to Dr. Ben Esswein for contributing much of the research for and reviewing the script of this podcast! We are also indebted to the educational resources of Ligonier Ministries; for more information on John Calvin check out this article:
