    This lesson is about Psalm 3 and how to deal with fear, anxiety, hurt, and difficult circumstances by trusting God. David wrote the Psalm while running for his life because his own son, Absalom, had betrayed him and was trying to take his throne. Even though David was surrounded by enemies and had every reason to be afraid, he chose to turn to God instead of letting fear control him. The main message is that you don’t have to pretend your problems aren’t real—you can honestly identify what you’re afraid of, recognize that God is still with and protecting you, rest in His care, and trust Him with the outcome. The sermon summarizes this with four steps: identify your fear, shift your perspective toward God’s protection, rest in God’s sustaining care, and entrust your deliverance to God.

    This message, based on Psalm 139, is about realizing that God knows you completely, is always with you, intentionally created you, and wants to search your heart—not to shame you, but to transform you. The main point is that you don’t have to hide, pretend, or perform for God because He already knows every part of you and still loves you completely. The message moves through four ideas: God knows me, God is with me, God made me, and God searches me. Ultimately, that complete knowledge and love should lead us to stop hiding from God, surrender what needs to change, and come to Him confidently through Jesus, who demonstrated God’s love by dying for us even while we were still sinners.

    The main message of Student Weekend is that we should be “anchors” for the next generation by sharing how God has been faithful in our own lives, while also encouraging young people to confidently move toward their future. Psalm 71 shows us the importance of remembering and telling others what God has done, while Numbers 6 gives us the blessing of God’s provision and protection, favor and grace, and peace. The Israelites were in an uncertain “in-between” season, much like students who are moving from one stage of life to another, but God promised that His presence would remain with them. The message encourages adults to support, pray for, guide, and bless students so they know they are loved by God and have people who will help them when they make mistakes. Ultimately, we are called to pass down our stories of God’s faithfulness, invest in the next generation, and bless them so they can go into the world with faith, courage, and confidence in God.

    Psalm 136 and the idea that God’s love and faithfulness never end, no matter what is happening in our lives. It teaches us to give thanks because God is good, even when life is painful or confusing, because our circumstances can change but God’s character doesn’t. The sermon also encourages us to remember what God has done for us in the past—how He has helped, provided, protected, and carried us through difficult situations—and use those memories to trust Him in the present. Ultimately, the main message is: God’s love doesn’t depend on how well we’re doing; He forgives us when we fail, stays with us through hard times, and never forgets us because “His love endures forever.”
