What compels an electrical engineer with a dream job to leave everything to build and send a private spacecraft to the moon? What kind of unreasonable person even has the audacity to try? An optimist who sees failure as merely a problem to solve. That includes being paralyzed from the chest down. There's no stopping Yariv Bash from making a dent in the world, or the moon. Yariv is the co-founder and CEO of Flytrex Aviation. Flytrex provides drone delivery solutions for the food and retail sectors and was the 1st company in the world to deploy a B2C drone delivery system in an urban environment above Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. Flytrex is now taking part in the US Federal Aviation Administration prestigious commercial drone integration pilot program (IPP), with deliveries taking place in North Dakota and soon in North Carolina. Prior to that, Yariv was the co-founder and the 1st CEO of SpaceIL, a $100M Israeli non-profit organization that attempted to land Beresheet, the first private interplanetary robotic mission, on the Moon on April 2019 making Israel only the 7th nation ever to orbit the moon and reach the lunar surface. Yariv holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.

Guest Bio: Dr. Kira Radinsky is the chairperson and CTO of Diagnostic Robotics, where the most advanced technologies in the field of artificial intelligence are harnessed to make healthcare better, cheaper, and more widely available. Dr. Radinsky has founded SalesPredict, acquired by eBay in 2016, and served as eBay Chief Scientist (IL). She gained international recognition for her work at the Technion and Microsoft Research for developing predictive algorithms that recognized the early warning signs of globally impactful events, as disease epidemics and political unrest. In 2013, she was named one of MIT Technology Review’s 35 Young Innovators Under 35 and in 2015 Forbes included her as "30 Under 30 Rising Stars in Enterprise Tech”. She is a frequent presenter at global tech and industry conferences, including TEDx, Wired, Strata Data Science, Techcrunch and publishes in HBR. Radinsky also serves as a board member in the Israel Securities Authority and technology board of HSBC bank. She also holds a visiting professor position at the Technion focusing on the application of predictive data mining in medicine.
