Are the 10 Commandments timeless truths? Yes they are. God gave them to man around 3500 years ago and they are relevant today. The 10 Commandments are God’s rules for making the right choices.

9.            Tell the truth and do not say bad things about people.

Memorial Day is often seen as the unofficial start of summer. But the true meaning of Memorial Day is something very different. I want to talk about it – as I consider PATRIOTISM a “foundational value” which is a cornerstone of my podcast. It is a “timeless truth” that we all should know and understand. It is the day to honor our fallen soldiers – who gave their lives for our freedom. For veterans, it's a chance to honor those who are no longer here. We can never repay them for laying down their lives for us – but we can remember them this day.

“Surrender” – With Julia Jackson

Good day. This is Dr. Christine Van Horn. This is Episode 45 on the “Timeless Truths” podcast with my special guest, Julia Jackson. 
 
Julia Jackson is a blessed mother to 4 children and a beloved grandmother to 19 grandchildren. She credits her walk with the Lord as being her greatest accomplishment and boasts of nothing else but what Jesus has done in her life. 
 
Julia and I talk about “surrender” and what it has meant in her life – both as a younger Mom and the challenges she has faced today with caring for her Mom and her son. He was shot in the back by a white police officer in Kenosha, WI and the nation bore witness to this tragic event that threatened to divide this Nation. Her message is one of forgiveness and surrendering to the Lord on a daily basis. Her personal journey is one that will inspire you to “surrender” your life to Jesus.
