Tipsy Casting

Time and again Jess & Jenn find a way to bring cool insight into whatever topic they’re covering. I often feel like they’re reading my mind: when a question pops into my head while I’m listening, they usually answer it like 30 seconds later in the episode. They’re also really great at asking detailed, incisive questions, and creating an environment that puts the guest at ease so we can listen to their more authentic opinions. My favorite part of all is that they’re not afraid to speak their minds. That’s always valuable, especially when people in Hollywood mostly just want you to play ball. Sometimes it seems as if the truth is too threatening. Jess & Jenn, thank you for being you and for having discussions some are too scared to have.

Slightly late to the party here but playing catch up as quick as I can. This podcast gives great information on all things casting and also gives real insight on the entertainment industry as a whole. Jessica and Jenn mesh together really well in order to deliver what feels like a real, sometimes brutally honest impression of the casting industry from their personal experiences and it’s a must-listen-to for anyone working in casting or acting. I enjoyed this podcast for the most part until the Oscar episode and their spreading of misinformation regarding the Artists for Ceasefire pin - if one is going to spew such vitriol, you’d think they get their facts straight.
