It’s been a couple of months since I’ve discovered the realm of podcasting and the variety of the content produced in this form which was really interesting to me as a person who always preferred written content such as books, magazines, blogs, etc over any other type of media, when it came to educating myself or even as a means of entertainment! After following a couple of famous and popular shows (which were definitely full of new information and insights for me) I came to realize or at least felt like that the realm of podcast production (just like many other fields of content production; prints, movies, music, ..) is too American dominated! Not meaning that it’s a bad thing, but honestly I think the world is much bigger than the USA and there are hundreds of other cultures and countries we can discover and learn about! And even issues! I wonder why the biggest problem of the world/the most mentioned topic in every single show in previous months should be the USA election?!!! isn’t there anything else to talk about?! I mean I was just tired of seeing every highly rated show with definitely good contents, excessively revolved around the USA, its events, its issues,... Actually I was looking for more internationally oriented sort of contents, I also am highly interested in any Middle East related topic! these led me to go for Arabic podcasts (I’m a native Persian speaker who’s somehow familiar with the Levantine Arabic but I still got many difficulties 😅 to fully understand this language, thus Arabic podcast wasn’t a good choice either)! Until I found about this show! It was like the combination of everything I was looking for 🤩😎: covering a wide range of topics (not necessarily about the USA), presented in English and talking a lot about the Middle East in various aspects! Keep up the great work! 👍🏼

Nadia Michel’s amazing personality shines in this podcast. She clearly has a solid foundation in journalism and isn’t afraid to dig deep into the topics being discussed. She has beautiful and fun personality that allows the people she is interviewing to feel at ease allowing them to share amazing ideas with the listeners. I LOVE this podcast. I listen for Nadia as much as I do for whomever she is interviewing.
