    Team Lasso

To Be Fair… the Apple TV show Ted Lasso is a game changer.  The writing is brilliant, the acting great and the humor tickles me all at the same time.  The way of Ted Lasso and how it is helpful is what I ponder in this episode.  From the little moments of our daily lives … Continue reading "Team Lasso"

    Honestly, Cussing

Drawn from the wisdom of Beverly, in this episode of “To Be Fair…” I explore words and phrases that are safe for any environment yet are expressive.  Certainly not from Beverly, I also then share a bit about cussing. Cheers!  Amy Kay

I’m a rule follower, my friends, but today we are thinking about when it is okay to break the rules. There’s a lot of Jesus today so if that is a problem for you, skip this one 😉  I’ve been glad to get to preach a lot recently so these things have been on my … Continue reading "When is it okay to break the rules?"

Learn why from Dr. Stuart Brown, psychiatrist and the founder of the National Institute for Play, with framework from Dr. Brené Brown, Social Work Prof. from Houston University.  They aren’t guests on the show, unfortunately, but I speak from their work. Here’s to playing for full, overflowing lives!

Leaves me in a better mood😃

Amy Kay officiated my friends wedding, that friend told me to check out this podcast. As a newbie I was excited to see there were some shorter podcasts, my attention span doesn’t last for 90 minutes episodes 😃 She has an uplifting tone and reminds us to give ourselves grace❤️ Excited to hear more!

Inspirational!

I consider Amy Kay a mentor on this journey of life to become more fully alive. She is humorous, candid, authentic, and a truth teller. As an advocate for social justice, Amy Kay has a way of bringing it home to how each of us can live full of justice and compassion for ourselves and the good of the world.
