Good morning, New York City! Bundle up because we've got a chilly forecast coming your way.

Today's looking sunny but crisp, with temperatures barely climbing to 39 degrees Fahrenheit. Those wind chill values are going to make it feel like a brisk 20 to 30 degrees, so grab that winter coat! Expect southwest winds around 6 to 8 miles per hour.

Tonight, we're looking at increasing clouds with temperatures dropping to around 34 degrees. A gentle south wind will keep things moving at 6 to 8 miles per hour.

Saturday brings a 50 percent chance of rain after 1 p.m. Expect cloudy skies and a high near 44 degrees with south winds between 6 to 10 miles per hour.

Saturday night gets interesting with a slight chance of rain and snow before 1 a.m. Temperatures will hover around 34 degrees, and winds will shift from southwest to northwest.

Sunday is when things get real interesting, folks. Snow likely after 1 p.m., with temperatures maxing out around 36 degrees. We could see 1 to 3 inches of fresh snow accumulation that might just make the city look like a winter wonderland.

Martin Luther King Day looks mostly sunny but cold, with highs around 26 degrees. Monday night will be crystal clear but frigid, dropping to around 10 degrees.

Tuesday and Wednesday continue the cold trend with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures struggling to reach 18 degrees.
