    Work is so much more than a way to pay the bills. It's the locus of modern friendship, community, status, purpose and a core part of the stories we tell about who we are. So what happens when AI starts changing the jobs that shape our lives? I’m Rachael Bolton, a reporter, researcher and artist and this is Tokenised Human. In season one, I talk with psychologists, researchers, technology leaders and people redesigning the workplace about the job apocalypse, capitalism, surveillance, loneliness, power and who gets to decide what happens next. No techno-utopianism. No doomerist cosplay. Just clear-eyed conversations, uncomfortable questions, a few jokes and a big dose of joyful pessimism.
