    On the Record: Kyleene Filimaua, Bailey Higgins, & Delaney Ewing

    On our latest episode of On the Record, today’s host Gia Ciaccio is joined by Kyleene Filimaua, Bailey Higgins and Delaney Ewing of the Florida State volleyball team! The group opens up by discussing their upbringing in volleyball before diving into Sydney Sweeney’s newest ad. They then venture off to discuss Bailey’s stint as her high school’s mascot and Gia and Kyleene’s fortuitous encounter at Hotworx. Delaney declares that Surcheros is superior to Chipotle and shares how she will get some time on the slopes in her home state of Colorado once volleyball is behind her. The girls discuss the pleasant surprise of Coach Allman being named their new head coach and what it was like for Chris Poole to retire, as well as the start to the current season and the upcoming rivalry matchups with Florida and Miami! The group discusses where they see themselves in 10 years, with Kyleene maybe taking over the open AD role at Florida State in the near future.     On tonight’s episode, host Gia Ciaccio and cohost Cole Kruger are joined by returning panelists Brody Miller and Layton McCartney as well as producer Will McBroom for a full reaction to Florida State football’s win over New Mexico State on Saturday. The crew evaluates what is right and what is wrong about the reaction from the fanbase to the game, the improvements to the run game, and the struggles defensively. They also look forward to the matchup with SMU and make their predictions there. Gia and Will then recap volleyball’s season opening trip to Fort Myers and 2-1 record including a close loss to ranked BYU, headlined by Delaney Ewing and Kyleene Filimaua’s performances as well as the emergence of freshman Sofia Moss.
