I loooovee these sermons. In 2021 I started listening & these and one other church have kept me in the faith. Dr. Evans, I probably would have lost my mind without listening to you preach in such an applicable and helpful way. All of that intelligence and you are still able to present it in a way that helps the everyday believer. I want that old school surety, that I know that I know that I know lol that Jesus is Lord and that He is good all the time. When I push my sin & pride aside, I know who to come look 1st when I need something godly in my ear. I used to love Jesus with all my heart, soul, and mind & honestly don’t any more. I want to but in new, healthier ways.
Also, the series on Revelations helped me so much. Please run that back this year too. I had a poor view of eternity before that. I idolized it and didn’t see why I was supposed to be happy about being on earth just because I woke up. That means nothing to someone who didn’t want to wake up but that sermon series was fire 🔥✨🔥 it helped me embrace these 30s, let go of some desire to be in perfect control, and want to live in this part of eternity, the proposal.
So, a devotional email led me here. I would listen in the Dr. Tony Evans sermons app but it’s harder to track where I stopped or have some autoplay while driving there. So, this is exciting! I hope y’all keep posting and are able to continue showing up! Thank you to y’all whole team.
