Recipes, Shame & Uncleanliness, & the God of the Garden

Recipes, Shame & Uncleanliness, & the God of the Garden

We kick off the show with some tales of the house and terrible 4 year-olds and recap a BBQ dinner which, naturally, leads to a whole list of delicious foods. Molly then kicks of a more in-depth look at the woman at the well and the relationship between shame and uncleanliness and Jesus' approach to both. We then talk regenerative farming and what gardening is teaching Molly about the Lord right now.

Foundations for Truth Claims & Talking To Your Kids About LGBTQ Agenda

This week we discuss talking to our kid about the LBGT agenda, Francis Schaeffer and the idea that the Christian culture is making truth claims from a foundation that no longer exists. Before we dive into those topics, we give you a follow up on Molly's emergency Canavox meeting, flooding and camping, energy and other things (as usual). We close the show with a wonderful lemon cake recipe. We also mention some of our listeners! Was it you?

Everything from diapers to deep theology

This is probably podcast I wait most excitedly for each week. Molly and JR confirm what I’ve always thought, which is that people are weird and hard.

Sit & Listen

They may be too busy to flush but JR & Molly provide substantial insights into relevant topics, the simple & complicated pleasures of life, the raw realities of marriage and family and all interspersed with heathy doses of humor. I take away things to ponder and explore and a feeling of having been refreshed by just hanging out with these two fine people.
