Too Niche?

I was a long time listener of “that’s so retrograde” and I kind of tailed off over the years until I stumbled upon the “Everything Shower” episode and fell in love. I was catching up from the beginning so when I started listening Lara had already returned to “sup”. Yes, there is a shift, and yes, we await the second coming of Lara to the Too Niche universe - but I feel like at its core the show still stays true to its roots ❤️. A chill “haul”/ deep dive into various topics in beauty, wellness, and culture. Elizabeth is such a good conversationalist. I love the addition of new guests and fresh faces and how open and casual the episodes (still) feel. And as a fellow so-cal girly, the L.A. energy is sooo infectious. Chefs kiss ✨✨

I found this podcast randomly last year when I didn’t know I needed it. It’s like checking in with a friend on whatever good is going on that you need to know about. Content changes all the time and is always interesting! Great product recs and perspectives. Check it out if you’re a mid-30’s professional girlie like me or anyone who loves a good candle, moisturizer, and edible.

I’ve always loved this pod. I still listen no matter what! But this last episode with the reiki healer absolutely killed me. I felt like we learned nothing but her really jaded and ”I’m too good for bravo” point of view. We get it, you had no idea what you were getting into and you’ve never seen one single show that bravo produces kind of just felt weirdly elitist? Unsure. I miss reviewing things and getting recommendations. I used to get the best stuff on Sephora hauls and even silly drinks at the grocery store. Now it’s more of a comfort listen that is slightly painful.
