Tangled and the Call to Community

Tangled and the Call to Community

Is Disney's Tangled just a swash-buckling fairy tale romance movie, or can we look past the surface to find something deeper? Listen in to find out what Disney Animation's first CGI 3D princess, Rapunzel, along with Flynn Rider/Eugene Fitzherbert, a group of dreaming pub thugs, a feisty chameleon, and an intense horse can teach us about our need for community, our innate desire to know and be known, and the challenges we face in connecting with others. Tolkein.Mentioned in this episode:"Tangled" entry in Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tangled"Eucatastrophe" entry in Tolkein Gateway: https://tolkiengateway.net/wiki/EucatastropheMusic by REDproductions, sourced from Pixabay.comQuestions, comments, or suggestions? Great Family Podcast

Tracy does such a great job on this podcast! I love to hear her daughters reviews of the movies almost as much as I love the faith based context of Disney films!

Informative and delightful!

Tracy does such a great job weaving facts and background of beloved animation movies with insightful reflections. This podcast reminds me that everything in life can be untangled and directed to Christ. If we take on a biblical lens we are able to receive helpful take aways much like those Tracy addresses. I think the more we do this, the better we can decipher between and filter reality from fantasy. Thanks for a fun show, Tracy!
