Through teachings like “let your yes be yes and your no be no” and “turn the other cheek,” Jesus challenges us to examine our motives, our integrity, and how we respond when we are insulted or wronged. This message unpacks the importance of being people of integrity, keeping our promises, and refusing to let the brokenness of the world shape what comes out of us. Pastor Aaron also addresses common misunderstandings around “turning the other cheek,” explaining how Jesus calls believers to respond with wisdom, strength, and character rather than retaliation.
