INTRODUCING SEASON 2: Trapped In Treatment

Paris Hilton’s “Trapped in Treatment” is back for a second season with hosts Caroline Cole and Rebecca Mellinger Grone as they investigate the Worldwide Association of Specialty Programs and Schools (WWASP) - the largest global network of programs in the history of the troubled teen industry.

Our first season's story continues with a look into how one man — a man who got his start at Provo Canyon School — masterminded his own universe of programs replete with allegations of abuse, isolation, and trauma that spanned from the arid deserts of Utah to the humid beaches of Jamaica.

With first-hand accounts from survivors and interviews with former employees and industry experts, “Trapped in Treatment” Season 2 explores the complex nature of the troubled teen industry and the lack of justice for those that have lived through it.

Interesting

I have a very hard time believing some of these stories. These kids leave out a ton of details that they have chosen to do so. I work at a facility like this. These kids are never strip searched, never made to stand for hours and we do not do injections unless they are completely out of control. 90% of these children are court ordered to complete these programs. You probably should discuss more about the why they’re there instead of glorifying the supposed abuse.
