Informational, loving, accessible
I’ve only listened to the first episode and a bit of the second, but I can already see this podcast being a great resource for someone who has recently been through a trauma or someone who wants to help a traumatized friend or family member. It’s great for anyone who wants information and works better with learning through audio rather than reading articles online or reading long books.
Knowing from tumblr that at least one of the co-hosts is a trauma survivor, I think it would be cool to see more organic discussions (I’m pretty sure this is scripted though I’m not 100% sure) later in the future if they wanted to do that; however, this more scripted informational podcast is valuable already, from validating survivors to arming them with easily-accessible information, and I can’t wait to listen to more.
