Great podcast
I feel like I listen to all the True Crime podcasts. I’m surprised I only just found this one. Binge worthy.
Good pod, but why rip off MFM’s ending?
I like the content of this show, but the closing “Mr. Gatsby want a cookie? Good boy!” makes me cringe SO HARD at the end of every episode. It’s ripped straight off of My Favorite Murder’s episode ender of “Elvis want a cookie? Good boy!” (A true crime pod that has been around way longer and is much more popular). It taints it for me since he’s presenting these journalistic stories, with the assumption that the integrity that goes along with that is intact, and then wraps every episode by so clearly ripping off another podcast’s thing without giving them any credit for it. Just be original, dude.
Totes a Fan!
I’ve always been a true crime fan. From watching the ID Chanel growing up, books and documentaries, and now podcasts! I’d consider myself picky when it comes to the type of podcasts I can actually listen to. Some just get a little out there and it’s hard to keep track lol.
Matt does such a great job, I can listen to him all day. But I’m quickly binging my way through it! Can’t wait for more episodes.
However—the intro is a little cheesy—so just fast forward through it like I do. Don’t judge based on that 😅 lol
