    Episode #143: The Secret in the Dark

    Hello True Drews! On this week's episode, we jump into book #102 The Secret in the Dark. Nancy, Bess and George head to Seattle--I was just there!--to see Bess's friend Dierdre, an old neighbor, who moved there to pursue her music. Deirdre is newly blind from an accident and is playing her violin in an upcoming competition at the Sabatini Conservatory of Music, but strange things are happening. Noises near the windows of her apartment, threatening notes and strange cooincedences... Can Nancy help Bess's friend and keep herself out of danger in the process?     Episode #142: The Mystery of the Missing Millionairess

    Hello True Drews! On this week's episode, we're back to the books and discussing book #101 The Mystery of the Missing Millionairess! Nancy, Bess and George go to check on a student, Claudia, at the prestigious Brookfield Academy just outside of River Heights, for Carson. But as soon as they get to the school, things seem to be going wrong... Claudia's roommate, Veronica Armand, daughter of the famous actor and director, Nicholas Armand, has gone missing! Is it just a prank? Or is something more sinister going on? If you're looking for a book that reminds you of the game Warnings at Waverly Academy (since we haven't gotten to the book the game is actually based on yet, #158 The Curse of the Black Cat) this book will hit the spot!     Episode #141: 1939 Nancy Drew, The Hidden Staircase Movie

    Hello True Drews! On this week's episode we're covering the last of the 4 1930's Nancy Drew movies starring Bonita Granville and Frankie Thomas! Based on the second Nancy Drew book by the same name, Nancy is solving this mystery in River Heights and trying to assist the Turnbull sisters, Rosemary and Floretta, who have been having disturbing things going on at their mansion. Things have gone missing, there are bumps in the night, and the sisters believe they have even heard singing behind the walls! It's up to Nancy and Ted to solve the case! I hope you all enjoy this episode! *Content Warning: Suicide and murder are mentioned in this episode quite frequently, as they are dealt with in the plot.*

    Episode #140: 1939 Nancy Drew, Troubleshooter Movie

    Hello True Drews! I'm so excited to be talking about the third movie in the 1930's Nancy Drew movie franchise this week, Nancy Drew, Troubleshooter! Nancy and Carson have to go to Sylvan Lake to try and help Matt Brandon aka Uncle Matt, who has been accused of murder! Ted is also staying at the lake and gets roped into Nancy's shenanigans once again. And might love be on the horizon for Carson Drew? It's all in this week's episode! I hope you all enjoy listening!

    Hello True Drews! For this week's episode, we jump straight into the second Nancy Drew movie from the 1930's, Nancy Drew, Reporter! Nancy and Ted are back to their usual antics of solving mysteries in River Heights! This time, with the help of Killer Parkins and Ted's own sister, Mary. A woman named Eula Denning is accused of murder and it's up to Nancy and Ted to crack the case! Amidst whistle bomb pranks (courtesy of Killer and Mary) and literally having to sing for their supper! I hope you enjoy the episode!

    Hello True Drews! It has been a long time coming and I'm so excited to finally talk about the 1930's Nancy Drew movies with you! For the next 4 episodes, we'll be covering: (1938) Nancy Drew, Detective (1939) Nancy Drew, Reporter (1939) Nancy Drew, Trouble Shooter (1939) Nancy Drew The Hidden Staircase This first movie is a screenplay of The Password to Larkspur Lane, the 10th book in the series! Nancy and Ted Nickerson--yep, you heard that right! Ted instead of Ned--set out to solve their first ever cinematic mystery involving the missing Mrs. Eldridge, carrier pigeons, and a crime ring that's bigger than life!     Episode #137: A Secret in Time

    Hello True Drews! On this week's episode, we discuss book #100 A Secret in Time! Nancy and Bess go to an antiques expo in River Heights where Nancy's clock--THE clock--from her very first case, The Secret of the Old Clock, is on display. But at the antiques expo, chaos breaks loose when a $50,000 brooch goes missing...and it gets even crazier when Nancy gets home with her clock...and finds the missing brooch hidden inside it, in the same place where long ago, Josiah Crowley's second will resided! It's up to Nancy to figure out who was trying to steal the brooch and hid it in her clock in this fun, River Heights caper! Nancy, Bess and George almost get frozen inside of an ice cream freezer, almost go off the side of a bridge into the Muskoka River in an ice cream truck..and oh yeah, by the way--did I mention George works as an ice cream truck driver for the company Frosty Freeze?! There are so many hilarious hijinks--and scary moments!--in the 100th book in the series. I hope you all enjoy this episode!

    Episode #136: The Secret at Seven Rocks

    Hello True Drews! On today's episode, we jump into book #99 The Secret at Seven Rocks! Nancy, Bess and George are staying with the Larsens in the town of Seven Rocks in the Rocky Mountains, hoping to have a fun summer vacation that is mystery free, when yet another mystery falls into Nancy's lap! A wounded mountain lion cub leads Nancy to a wildlife rehabilitation center called Paws, where sabotage is happening. Does it have something to do with Dana Walsh and her disagreements with hunters in the area? Or with her assistant Jesse, who is less than friendly? It's up to Nancy Drew to solve this case! I hope you all enjoy the episode! *Content Warning: As the storyline for this book implies, there is quite a bit of talk about hunting and several guns pop up in this book. There is nothing outright that is gory, but just wanted to let listeners know!*
