    Dear Black Church

    Sometimes it's implicit, sometimes it's explicit, but almost EVERY time is strategic and intentional. Black women are subjected to being forced into subordinate roles in comparison to their male counterparts--heck, some cannot even be next to a man on the pulpit. Comparisons equivalent to that of wicked, seductive, and manipulative. It is demanded that women stay in their roles-- especially in church. But-- I believe enough is enough! Girls just wanna have fun too!     Church & Sexuality

    It is not a secret that the church tends to avoid the topic of sexuality, even though a part of who we are as humans consists of being sexual in nature at some point in life.
