A podcast hosted by a comic & a convict about trying to podcast.
It's Time for a Big Announcement
You've heard about the Big Announcement, now it's time to find out what it's all about. But first Jeremy and Brian blather on about parking lot etiquette, jingoism, and Trump's effect on how fast the vaccines were made available.
We Eat Pizza - Gambino's
Fair warning on this one - we eat into the mic. Brian opens the show with a rousing argument of Triscuit vs Wheat Thin. Then he brings up a topic that will be uncomfortable for some: name a time when you were a bully. Finally, the boys begin their quest to review the Best Pizzas in KC article from The Pitch by reviewing the one establishment they left off the list, Gambino's Pizza.
The Value of a Dollar
Jeremy has an observation which leads to a Prison Story from Brian. A listener reaction to a Facebook post sparks a conversation about the value of a dollar and how the boys learned that lesson. Jeremy learned about a Kansas State tradition that everyone probably already knows about, but falls in love w/ KSU anyway. He was also at a hotel bar in Wichita, KS watching the Jacksonville/Chargers game when JAX made an incredible comeback. All these sports topics made Jeremy realize an opportunity for another "Try...". Finally, the boys cleanse the pallet from all the sports talk by talking about the Golden Globe awards.
Brian is a Monster
Jeremy opens the show discussing when he first realized he had gotten fat compared to when he realized he needs to get comfy in his own skin. Brian discusses expectations vs reality of being an adult. Jeremy accuses Brian of being a monster for the way he eats string cheese. Producer Rachel grabs the mic for a bit & sets the boys straight while they eat some whiskey balls she bought at an airport in Louisville, KY. Finally, the boys connect some dots over a budding pizza rivalry in the KC area.
Better than Yesterday
The boys are at it for a 2nd week in a row, part of their renewed promise to do better than last year. Jeremy updates Brian on his New Year's Resolution & challenges him to be better than yesterday. This leads to a push up challenge that will last all of 2023. Finally, the boys have a new food mission: to judge The Pitch's Best Pizza list. That's right, they're going to review the Best Pizza list put forth by Kansas City blog, The Pitch, because they've already done the work & it's easier to judge the list than to compile one of their own! Hooray!
Everything in Moderation
Jeremy and Brian are back this week to try some new bourbon, chat about their Christmas traditions and discuss their New Year's resolutions.
Inspirational and humorous
Love how these two guys have a great sense of humor while intertwining their real life stories which are of inspiration to every walk of life to work hard at becoming a better version of oneself. Also, this podcast is helping me get through a rough patch with the humor and inspiration to become a better version of myself. 👍🏻👍🏻 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Less politics more comedy
I don’t listen to a comedy show to hear your political views. The judgmental opinions of one of the host are very off putting. If you don’t agree with his opinion. You are an idiot or just misinformed. Just stop expressing these opinions or it will probably start to cost you listeners. Also the change from a show a week to a show whenever is disappointing. The fact you never know when you might get a show makes me not want to listen anymore. It seems like they are phoning it in now.
Amazing Story Telling!
Listening to this podcast helps pass my time at work. Laughed out loud several times.
