    In celebration of the National Indigenous Peoples Month in the Philippines, Tuko Chronicles collaborated with the UP Department of Linguistics to compile snippets of different narratives gathered from field research in various ethnolinguistic groups throughout the country. Listen to a sampling of diverse grammatical structures, personal backgrounds, varied ways of life, experiences, and, ultimately, different ways of making sense of reality.     For the first installment of #TukoChronicles Season 2, we proudly give you "The Laji of Batanes," recorded and described by Assistant Professor Edwin Valientes, faculty member of the UP Department of Anthropology and an Ivatan himself.
