Turtle Time

Hands down the best Bravo podcasters out there. I was introduced to Turtle Time via Riley’s TikTok during the time of Scandoval, and have been a dutiful Little Turtle Cutie ever since! The Bravoverse is my escape, and too often Bravo commentary veers into parasocial, black-and-white, vicious territory that feels stressful; Turtle Time is nothing of the sort. They have balanced and nuanced takes/general demeanors, and are SO funny. Oftentimes I find myself watching Bravo shows gleefully thinking to myself “I can’t wait to hear what Amy and Riley have to say about this!” They are silly yet treat the Bravoverse with respect, which to me is the perfect combination. I also greatly enjoy their “news” segments and commentary on movies/shows/general pop culture outside the scope of Bravo- as both of them are longtime residents of LA, you really feel like you’re getting boots-on-the-ground opinions. And their Patreon is well-worth it too!

My sister got me into the show and we’re having so much fun going through the archives and sending clips back-and-forth. It’s so refreshing to have two hosts who are as smart, witty (soooo witty), and kind as Amy and Riley. I laugh aloud and rewind multiples times per episode. Listening just makes you feel good! McBee episodes were my personal faves.

Can’t get enough of these two. One is good cop. One is bad cop. Tune in to find out who is who. Amy and Riley are immersed in all things entertainment so there’s lots of movie / book references as well as general pop culture. Each episode contains their hilarious recapping. Even if the show that’s being recapped isn’t something I watch, I am still entertained. The commentary is inherently silly, sweet and smart. Their giggle fits will make you giggle. A must listen or watch. Get on it. #666
