I will admit that I only listened to one show, but it was a recent one. I wish they had negative or zero stars to choose. Yes that bad. So the ep was about Home Improvement, a popular sitcom of the 90’s. Here is the content: they spent significant time talking about Pam Anderson who was only in the show in a bit part in the first of 10 seasons. One of the two hosts just criticized the show in a whining voice, asking rhetorical questions: “why was the lead so dumb, why was the wife so smart, what did the neighbor do for a living”? Yet he didn’t know anything about the show, didn’t know how many kids they had, didn’t know if Tim’s Tool Time was a national or local show, Didn’t know that Binford Tools was not a real company... The only one who actually knew anything about the show sounded like he was reading from a Wikipedia page. This sounded like they just turned on their mics and started recording, no research, no show prep of any kind. You won’t find out who directed the show how it changed from the beginning, who was the competition, you know, interesting facts. To make matters worse they tried to be funny, but improv comedians they are not. I’m not sure they could be even if they wrote out a joke and practiced it before hand. Please do yourself a favor and save yourself the time that you will never get back and don’t bother, there are far better podcasts about TV shows out there.
