OpenAI DevDay Keynote 2023 - GPT-4 Turbo, Assistants API, GPTs, GTP Store
At its inaugural developer conference DevDay, OpenAI unveiled major upgrades like GPT-4 Turbo, a more advanced AI model that's 3x cheaper than GPT-4 and a 128k token context window that can handle much longer prompts. They also launched new multimodal capabilities so developers can integrate vision, speech, and image generation into apps. Key highlights include the Assistants API for building AI agents, the ability to create custom versions of ChatGPT called GPTs and share them publicly on the GPT Store, and Copyright Shield to protect customers. Apple 'Scary Fast' Event - M3 MacBook Pro & iMac
At its October 'Scary Fast' event, Apple unveiled new MacBook Pro laptops featuring the powerful new M3 family of chips, as well as a refreshed 24-inch iMac desktop with the M3 chip. The M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max chips offer dramatic leaps in performance and efficiency thanks to a new 3-nanometer manufacturing process. Apple also highlighted new GPU architecture in the M3 chips, enabling advanced graphics capabilities like hardware-accelerated ray tracing. The MacBook Pro and iMac retain the same form factor, but the MacBook Pro now comes in a new Space Black color option.
