Two-factor Authentication (2FA) requires users to verify their identity using two separate methods before gaining access. This usually involves entering a password and then a code is sent to your phone. If either one is missing, you haven’t done what is required and you won’t get in. In Romans, has Paul just told us we need to complete a "two-factor authentication" if want access to eternal life? Is he really saying that Jesus has done His part, now it’s up to us to do ours to complete the work? Actually, with these words Paul wants you to take great comfort in knowing Who has verified whom.
