211 - The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006) Review
Two brothers head on a trip with their girlfriends as they're ready to serve in Vietnam when they're involved in a car accident. They're left to cross paths with an isolated house that inhabits a cold-blooded cannibal family and a killer with a chainsaw.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning is the prequel to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and explains how Sheriff Hoyt becomes the Sheriff and how Uncle Monty loses his legs. Leatherface is shown to be just as gruesome, killing and skinning his victims and the family has its victims as dinner. This film is one of the better Texas Chainsaw movies in the series and in our opinion, the last good one in the series. Watch the movie and catch our review.

Final Friday: Born of Earth (2008)
Danny Kessler is out to stop ancient demons who live below Prophet Hills and killed his wife and took his children.
Born of Earth is as crazy as crazy gets. It's just as wild as we remember and although, it's not a good movie, it's memorable. There's something about the odd-looking, opportunist demons who snatch kids and kill everything else that is unforgettable. The logic behind the movie and how certain characters have never seen these demons is also wild. Watch the movie and catch our review.

210 - The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) Review
A deformed man with a chainsaw along with his family of crazy murderers relentlessly hunt five friends who encounter them while traveling.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one of the better horror remakes we've seen and as unbelievable as it may be, it is the second best in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre film series behind the original. After watching through all the movies, the original movie is so much better than all the others that it's hard to compare. However, the remake did a great job of capturing the gritty atmosphere of Texas and was really enjoyable. The remake is also successful in making the family entertaining as they were in the original movie. This film was a great way to kick off Alexis Texas Chainsaw Massacre Month. Watch the movie and catch our review.

Final Friday: Ice Spiders (2007)
Experimental spiders escape from a lab, killing and eating anyone in their path.
Ice Spiders is a movie we couldn't help, but love. With its ski vibe, crazy dialogue, and multi-colored spiders, we couldn't get enough. We watched this movie first years ago and it didn't get old. There's something about the energy brought to kill experimental spiders that escaped from a lab that is so much fun. Watch the movie and catch our review.

209 - The Lost Boys (1987) Review
After moving to Santa Clara, two brothers soon realize their new town is home to vampires.
The Lost Boys is the last movie of Retro Reel and while we are sad to end this amazing retro vibe, we were excited to discuss this movie. The Lost Boys has an amazing cast of Jason Patric, Kiefer Sutherland, Jamie Gertz, Corey Haim, Corey Feldman, and Dianne Wiest. The film adds some new elements to vampire movies, has an amazing soundtrack, and is hilarious. Watch the movie and catch our review.

Final Friday: Monster Brawl (2011)
8 monsters set in different divisions, fight in a wrestling match for their lives in a cursed graveyard.
Monster Brawl is a lot of fun for both horror fans and wrestling fans. It's awesome to see classic monsters fight against each other in a ring to the death. The detail that went into the promos and the guest stars like Jimmy Hart, Herb Dean, and Kevin Nash were amazing to see. Even if you're not a horror fan, it's fun to see monsters fight each other to the death in a wild ride that's both funny and comical. Watch the movie and catch our review.
